Heather has been actively involved in bodywork for over eight years. Drawing from a variety of styles including sports massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, prenatal, and proprioceptive stretching, she is able to listen deeper to her clients’ needs and tailor each session to the individual. She has worked in a range of settings from Spas to Chiropractic offices and with clients varying from professional athletes to marathoners, expectant mothers, and people experiencing chronic and acute pain. Heather understands the incredible benefits of massage therapy and works to achieve body awareness and increase range of motion. As a therapist, Heather creates a safe and inviting space allowing her clients a balanced mind and body experience.
In addition to her massage practice, Heather became a certified yoga instructor through the Boston Yoga School. There, Heather was introduced to Nicole Clark with whom she has studied closely with for the past year delving deeper into the intricacies of the human body, its physiological responses, and healing abilities. Heather has completed The Power of Touch mentorship with Nicole and continues to study under her.
Heather holds a certification in Holistic Health Coaching from the Institute for integrative Nutrition and is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
