MaryEllen Jurchak began her journey with yoga in 1998, at a time where she was emotionally exhausted with the demands of corporate IT. Immediately drawn to Iyengar method through the abiding knowledge and compassionate teachings of both Patrica Walden and Peentz Dubble, yoga became an anchor of stability and guiding light that continues to resonate to this day. Knowing the positive outcomes yoga provides whether it be mentally, physically or spiritually, she decided to take the next level of pursuing a path as an Iyengar teacher in 2014. Currently a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher trained by both Patricia Walden and Peentz Dubble, she continues her studies with them as they guide her through their exquisite teachings and passion for Iyengar yoga. As an assistant to Peentz Dubble and Patricia Walden for many years, MaryEllen's keen eye of observation, demonstrates her gentleness and passion of true alignment with guiding hands. Through her teachings she hopes her students gain a deeper awareness as they explore each pose through her thoughtful instructions and guidance in hopes they leave the class with an enriched experience of balance and underlining harmony within.

Outside her daily practice, MaryEllen enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Adventurous travels on the back roads of New England on her motorcycle, bicycle and long walks with her dog Wrigley
