Meghan Stetson, RYT-500, grew up in rural upstate New York, went to college in the Berkshires, and lived in Hong Kong for a year before landing in the Boston area. The daughter of a football coach, and a collegiate athlete herself, Meghan has always been drawn to physical challenge. In her post-basketball days, she dabbled in running and boxing, and she found Baptiste Yoga in 2008. She didn’t know at the time that physical intensity would simply be the gateway to her journey within, but she could feel that something much deeper inside of herself was nourished by the practice. Through the study of yoga, Meghan immediately recognized the language of her spirit. Commitment to her practice has given her access to a grace that brings her into the wonder of inquiry, brightly coloring each of life’s moments. Meghan has trained and mentored extensively with Gregor Singleton and Claire Este-McDonald. She has completed the Baptiste Institute’s Live Your Yoga, Art of Assisting, and Advanced Art of Assisting programs. She is forever grateful for the incredible community—past, present, and future—that she has found through the practice of Baptiste Yoga, and she is humbled to hold space for it here in its birthplace.
