Kristina Grinovich has been teaching yoga in the Boston area since becoming 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certified from O2 Yoga in 2010 under Mimi Loureiro. She is certified to teach Restorative Yoga, Vinyasa and Power Yoga, Yoga for 12-Step Recovery, and Yoga Sculpt. Along with teaching yoga, Kristina is also enrolled in a part-time program at North Shore Community College, where she is working towards receiving her Associates Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting. Her passion for anatomy, physiology, form, and function is infused with a light-hearted approach to strength-training and movement. Kristina believes that there is no one right way to do anything, and encourages students to use the yoga practice as a way to experiment, explore, and creatively study their own body, limitations, and strengths. She loves using props, music, and heat to encourage the release of judgement and the idea of "perfect" practice. Her goal is to make yoga and movement accessible for all, and has learned so much from teaching adults, teens, and people suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease. When she is not teaching or studying, Kristina volunteers with the Kids Program at the Massachusetts Adaptive Climbing Group.
