Danielle Doyle

Danielle Doyle teaches classes that are challenging but accessible to all bodies and all people, no matter where they are on their yoga journey. Her classes take students out of their heads and into their bodies, through intentional sequencing and a focus on breath, meditation, and yoga philosophy. She teaches with clear verbal cues and nurturing hands-on assists that encourage a balance of effort and ease in each pose. Danielle also teaches children’s yoga classes, where she introduces the postures, breath, and philosophy of yoga, while encouraging children to explore the sense of playfulness and wonder that they innately possess.

Danielle completed her 200-hour teacher training with Irum Naqvi and Jo Ann Jones in the 2012 at the Center for Natural Living at Rancho Margot in the cloud forests of Costa Rica. In the summer of 2015, she completed her 300-hour teacher training at the Boston Yoga School with Ame Wren and Kevin Courtney. There she studied asana, pranayama, and yoga history and philosophy, deepening her skills as a teacher and as a life-long student of yoga.

Inspired by her fascination with the human body—and a massage addiction she developed from a year living in Thailand!—Danielle began her study of massage therapy at The Massage School in Boston in the fall of 2015. Through 600 hours of classroom study and over 200 clinic hours, she gained a deeper understanding of the body: the muscular-skeletal system, kinesiology, and the healing power of touch. She is thrilled to help students heal, nurture, and connect through massage therapy at Down Under.

Danielle loves yoga for the freedom it has given her—to be kinder to herself and to others, and to let more experiences and people into her life. She strives to bring that sense of joy and connection to every person she meets on the mat, on the massage table, and in the world. I truly believe I have the greatest job there is. I try to infuse that sense of gratitude and joy into every class I teach.
