There are so many aspects of the practice that resonate with my personality. That practice occurs early morning in a silent room speaks to the spiritual side of my nature. No music, no talking. Bodies moving and breathing all contextualized by an age old process of moving energy. That the method is tried and tested and researched bolsters my faith.

I see results in the community of practitioners. I witness the results of practice in my own body mind and spirit. And finally, that the results take a long to time to realize, that this path is a hard fought one, one that requires commitment and determination and sacrifice speaks to the part of me that wants the satisfaction of working hard for something. And that something moves me to participate with life more fully and openly.
