In keeping with a tradition passed down through the millennia, Down Under Yoga is blessed to be a home to different generations of teachers and to have some of America’s most senior yoga teachers on our Faculty. Our monthly master classes with Patricia Walden, Barbara Benagh, Natasha Ritzopoulos, and visiting faculty from around the country are longer classes for seasoned students and teachers and allow for the possibility for in-depth study.
Studying with these extraordinary teachers will energize your practice and elevate it to a new level. The master classes and workshops may explore themes or particular areas of the body, such as core strength, yoga for back pain, shoulders, or hip openers. They may focus on a family of yoga poses such as forward-bends, backbends, twists, balances, or inversions, or focus on a specific topic such as yoga for osteoporosis, anxiety, or menopause. master classes may also be an extended sequence that uses the two and a half hours to take you deeper and allow you to experience the poses, your own breath, and movement in ways that a regular 90-minute classes cannot.
Workshops are open to all students. Master classes are for teachers and experienced students.
Workshops and master classes run for 2.5 hours and cost $30 each, unless stated otherwise.
