"Children have moments of pure amazement at what they discover, whether it's a dog or the capacity to run. Yoga offers that same capacity to be mesmerized with life, if we practice looking closely. Even grief and illness can elevate this appreciation when I truly practice well."
Fez Azwat

Fez Aswat has been teaching yoga and meditation throughout the Boston area since 2001. He regards his Hatha yoga practice as both a natural extension of and a pathway back to his meditation practice, which serves as the basis of his teaching. He teaches with precision and a great deal of focus on breath and alignment, thus developing a clear and present relationship with the body.

As a musician and a cancer survivor, Fez regards yoga as an invaluable practice for the maintenance of his well-being. He works closely with his primary teacher Tom Alden and has also studied extensively with senior Iyengar teachers Patricia Walden and Arthur Killmurray, and also with Barbara Benagh and Jin Sung.
