Wesley Sena

At a young age, Wesley enrolled in a Seminary of Vedic Philosophy and Theology where he studied classical Vedic literature and commentary such as Swami Prabhupada's "The Bhagavad Gita As It Is"—a book that has changed his life to this day. Eager to deepen his Vedic studies, he has traveled and lived in affiliated seminaries in Boston, Los Angeles, New York, Paris, London, and Rio de Janeiro. He now pursues academic studies at Harvard University under the auspices of Dr. Howard J. Resnick. A practitioner of Krishna Bhakti for many years, Wesley is honored to be a part of the truly amazing team at Down Under School of Yoga and there he has recently completed his 200hr Teacher Training. Wesley manages the Iyengar Registration Series for Patricia Walden in Brookline and Peentz Dubble in Newton, and the ongoing Mysore/Ashtanga program in Brookline. He can be found either working at the desk or sweating it out early in the morning hours in the Mysore room.
